through infertility, it can be difficult being in the midst of
others that are blessed with children, as you struggle to
have your own. Each of us are different in our experience
and reactions. We may even react differently to specific
people in our lives, or on any given day, depending on
where you are at in the process

Be honest with yourself, and in touch with your
emotions. It is better to limit your time with certain
people if you are not able to handle it well. I found
volunteering to watch the infants at church while their
parents attended service, to help fill the longing to have
a baby of my own.
Taking my sister’s kids to the park, or zoo, helped to fill
the hole in my heart. There will be times you will need to
be around family and friends that have children. Ask God
to help you be present with a loving and open heart, so
you can share in their joy.
