Pour whipping cream into a large mixing bowl and beat on high until soft peaks form. Please know that you can over mix whipping cream and it will loose it’s creamy smooth texture. . Add 1/2 cup of sugar to whipping cream and beat for 30 seconds until combined. {Yes, you may substitute Cool Whip if you need to…but the extra 5 mins to make your own whipped cream is SO worth it in this particular dessert}..
