In the cold light of a new day, when we look to the far off horizon that we are travelling to in Life’s journey, what lies ahead may often look quite grey. Struggling to see through the haze, the solid ground seemingly merges into that which clouds. Continuing to watch, it may dawn on you as it did me, that as the light disperses what mists our vision, and the more we focus on what the brightness shines on, the clearer we can see the solid ground on which we are meant to stand. Copyright Roger Knight 2013 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. Ps 40: 1-2 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 JASMINE'S PLACE 51
