If the wildlife was contaminated, the Japanese fishing industry will take a hit. This could possibly destroy the entire ocean ecosystem. Many horrible consequences occurred due to the nuclear disaster, but this could be one of the worst.

Water is the most important natural resource we have. In Japan, this resource is not taken for granted. Water soaks through the heart of Japan, giving birth to many jobs in industry, fishing, mining, and also increasing trade with the West. The world should look towards the shining example set by Japan, and follow in its footsteps.
