The day started off with judging of the Special Awards classes by Mrs Kerry Jelfs from Lapema Alaskan Malamutes. There was a good entry of 4 entries in each class to be judged.

The club show was held in the Kennel Club building at Stoneleigh Agricultural Centre. This is a lovely indoor venue so we don't suffer if the weather turns against us on the day. We also have plenty of parking near to the hall which makes for an easy set-up and departure. We can also access the City of Birmingham catering and shopping facilities so combining the best of both a small and larger show in one venue. We hope that all of the exhibitors and judges enjoyed their day and if you have any comments or feedback that would allow us to improve the show next year please let us know by emailing [email protected].

I would like to thank the JAIC for inviting me to judge these classes. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the great entry today, all the dogs were so well behaved & friendly, not one bad temperament amongst them & they are a credit to the breed & their owners. I felt totally at ease judging these super specimens. For a breed so numerically small the quality is very impressive.

Kerry Jelfs

The Open Show judging commenced shortly afterwards with Tim Ball judging.

Congratulations go to all the winners and especially to those taking the top prizes. We hope that you liked the rosettes and trophies and we hope to see you back defending your titles next year.
