3rd AkihoFest - Russia
The second running of the AkihoFest by the Eurasian Akiho branch was held near to Torbevo lake near to Moscow in Russia. It was a packed weekend which included seminars by experienced Japanese Judges, an FCI show and an Akiho show. This provides a wonderful opportunity to meet very experienced and knowledgeable people and learn more about the breed and what makes a great Japanese Akita Inu. In addition it is a great opportunity to see a large number of Japanese Akita Inu in one place as they had an entry of 130 dogs on the day.
2014 sees the 3rd running of this relatively new show. Dates and location still to be confirmed.

The German Bundesieger (National Championship) and the Dortmund International shows are held on the same weekend at the Dortmund exhibition centre. This provides exhibitors with an opportunity to attend 2 shows in a weekend and to obtain both a CAC and CACIB in one trip.
Dortmund is a very dog-friendly city so travelling with the dogs is easy. Also the show is held in conjunction with an equine exhibition so once you are finished showing there is always plenty to see and do.
