UK Lanyard Makers is a UK based manufacturer of lanyards , fabric wristbands , fabric keyfobs ( K ’ dangles ), snoods , microfibre cloths and printed ribbon . We are a trade only supplier and do not supply end users . If you are not a distributor and would like to buy our products , we will be happy to put you in contact with one of our distributors . Being a UK manufacturer speed and turnaround times are key to our business . We can despatch orders as quickly as next day on an express service . Our standard turnaround is 5 days .
We use a full colour , dye sublimation process to brand all of our products . All our manufacturing takes place in-house . We have a production capacity of over 5,000 lanyards a day and make over 1 million lanyards per year !
While lanyards are the main item that we make we can also produce branded medal ribbons . If you or your client were to provide us with medals these can be sewn on , or attached , to our UK made branded ribbons . Our full colour process means that there are very few limitations to the branding process . Whether you require a one colour print , a close Pantone match to a CMYK equivalent , rainbow or gradient we can do it . The ribbon we use is a flat smooth polyester with a satin finish . This will give your medal ribbons a premium look and feel .
Guy and Phil deal with the sales side of the business . Phil is one of the directors and has been manufacturing lanyards in the UK for over 10 years and has lots of experience .

The years of experience have enabled us to provide rapid artwork proofs and quotations which helps the company run smoothly .
The environment and being as eco-friendly as possible is really important to us . All our raw materials come to the UK via sea or rail freight from China . These methods of freight produce considerably less CO2 than flying goods in from the Far East . We will be switching all our lanyard , medal ribbon , wristband and keyfob ( K ’ dangle ) production over to recycled polyester ( RPET ) ribbon later this year . This is to further reduce our CO2 emissions . The eco-friendly points don ’ t stop there ! The dye sublimation inks used in the production process are water-based instead of solvent-based . The factory is partly powered by a 40kw solar array and it has a biomass heating system which helps keep us warm in winter ! All the waste paper goes for recycling with our waste partner Chambers . They will convert our paper waste at their factory in Kent to make cardboard for boxes .
To help with the reduction of the carbon footprint of the goods once they leave us , they are shipped with DPD who have a carbon-neutral commitment , more information about this can be found on their website . We are active within our trade association the British Promotional Merchandise Association and their sustainability group to find ways that we can make our products more environmentally friendly and sustainable .
