NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS The Orchards of East Liverpool rang in the New Year with bubbles and fun ! Residents and staff alike donned festive headpieces . Welches Sparkling Grape Juice filled glasses to toast in reflection of the year left behind and the new one to come . Here ’ s to health , happiness and good friends !
Many of you know , The Orchards is a friend to all types of pets , from lizards and chickens at our Pet Parades , to our every day visitors such as Ollie , Gracie , and Gigi , to our resident pets like Chewy .
There are many health benefits of owning a pet . They can increase opportunities to exercise , get outside , and socialize . Regular walking or playing with pets can decrease blood pressure , cholesterol levels , and triglyceride levels . Pets can help manage loneliness and depression by giving us companionship . Most households in the United States have at least one pet .
DECORATING FOR THE HOLIDAY The Orchards was a little more festive thanks to our residents making decorations ! Armed with glitter-glue and fun cutouts , they got right to work on their creations . Sparkling trees , gingerbread men and more waited to dry so they could be placed on doors , in windows and hung on the wall . What a wonderful job they did !
