page 42 page 43 LIBRARIES National Storytelling Week - Rise and Shine Storytime 4-5yrs We are launching a brand new monthly activity for pre-school children during National Storytelling Week. ‘Rise and Shine Storytime’ will bring stories to life using our senses and imagination and will end with a mini-maker activity for little ones to get creative. Each month we will explore a different theme. Harry Potter Night - Fantastic Beasts 5-12yrs Calling all Harry Potter fans! Potions and spells, wonder and wizardry, butterbeer and books await at your local library on the most magical night of the year. Come dressed as your favourite character or come as you are and help us pass on the magic of the unforgettable Harry Potter books. Create your own fantastic fairy tale with crafts, make a fairy garden or watch in awe as the 3D printer spins away to create fantastic 3D fairy tale objects before your very eyes at Mearns Library.
