Every year , SmileCon also offers a wide variety of continuing education courses and hands-on workshops for every member of the dental team . Last year , I took a hand-on course to become certified in Botox and dermal fillers for facial esthetics . This year , a course worth mentioning that I attended was “ Decoding Quadrant Composite Dentistry : How Tools Impact Outcome and Efficiency ,” presented by Dr . Matthew Burton . The room for this CE was completely filled and many people in the long waiting line for this course even had to be turned away . It was one of the most efficiently comprehensive CEs I ’ ve taken on posterior composite dentistry . I always walk away from the courses I attend at SmileCon with an energized mindset and many practice-changing tools to implement in my own patient care . SmileCon does an amazing job offering courses of not only a wide array of topics , but also of many skill levels , as they include many helpful clinical pearls for new and seasoned dentists alike .
