have anywhere between 40 to 80 horses on my place at any given time. I have stallions standing at stud, and house recip mares for foaling along with donor mares here. I have my own horses I breed and sell, as well as client horses Do you have a favourite line of horses that you like? Most of my own breed of horses are Stock Horse cross Quarter Horse. I like to cross my Stock Horse mares to Quarter Horse stallions. The stallions I have are Warrenbri Cobber (ASH), Brown Highwayman (ASH), Oak So Smart (AQHA) and Pistol Packin Lena (AQHA). Is there someone in your discipline you admire or you aspire to be like? There are a lot of people I admire for different reasons. The list is too long to just mention one person. My idea is to not be like someone else, but to gain knowledge from the people I admire and put that to my own individual success. What is your favourite event? Restricted Open and Open Campdrafts are my favourite events, as they host some of the best riders and horses getting around. Name some major wins you have had and which one was the biggest thrill for you. I’ve been fortunate enough to have won a few ACA Titles, such as Juvenile Rider Title, Lady Rider Title, Maiden Rider Title, Associate Rider Title and Rookie Horse Titles. I’ve also been Runner Up Open Rider and have managed a few major Campdraft wins, such as Warwick Canning Downs Draft, Warwick Ladies Draft and Runner Up Warwick Gold Cup. I won the Novice at Chinchilla Grandfather Clock a couple of times and won the Ladies Grandmother Clock. I also have had a couple of wins at Paradise Lagoons in the Ladies and Stallion drafts. What do you like the most of your chosen discipline? The atmosphere at a Campdraft is just awesome. Even though it is a very competitive sport, there are always helping hands available to everyone and anyone. Where do you see your life taking you in the next 10 years? I’d hope my life continues to be as it is now, but maybe add a couple of rug rats (kids) into the picture. I’m very content with the path I’m on. My career and life are very good at the moment. Is there another hobby you have when not riding? No other hobbies, Campdrafting and riding take up most of my time - wait all of my time.
