DAT spot rate reflects robust weekly growth
As of Nov . 30 , 2024 , the DAT Freight and Analytics national average spot rate reached $ 1.69 per mile , up from $ 1.65 per mile the previous week and $ 1.66 per mile rate in the same week of 2023 .

Xeneta Asia to US West Coast short and long-term rates
Xeneta aggregates freight rates for both short-term contracts valid for less than 32 days , and long-term contract that are valid for 87 days or more . Terminal Handling Charges ( or THCs ) are excluded . The Dec . 5 , 2024 , average spot rate from Asia to the US West Coast was $ 3,612 per FEU , down 8.8 % from the previous week . Rates in long-term contracts signed in the last three months fell 3.4 % to $ 2,959 per FEU , while rates in all long-term contracts slipped 1.5 % to $ 2,108 per FEU .
