- The Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Company-
The Volunteer Fire Company of Mill Hall is located in the town of Mill Hall, right in the middle of the commonwealth known as Clinton County. We are recognized locally as Station 4.
The Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Company is located at 9 East Peale Avenue. As of January 1, 2026, our main coverage will be provided in the Bald Eagle Township area of the Mill Hall community. Our services also extend past that by providing mutual aid in Clinton County, as well as some parts of Centre and Lycoming Counties.
The Mill Hall Fire Company is totally staffed by volunteers, and registered as a nonprofit organization. We are always looking for volunteers to train, expand our roster, and serve our community. There are plenty of opportunities to do that within the fire company for those who would like to volunteer, but not fight fires or respond to emergencies. In years past, the Fire Company held its Cash Bingo every Friday night, giving people a chance to unwind, gather with friends, enjoy delicious food, and have a chance at winning cash prizes. This upcoming year, we will host our Annual Pancake Breakfast, which will mark our 62nd year of flipping pancakes and cooking sausage for our beloved community to enjoy.
Within the walls of our Fire Company, we are more than just a place where the fire equipment is housed and maintained. It’ s also a great Community Center. There is more than enough space for any gathering you’ d wish to hold. Our building is also the everyday home of the local Senior Center run by STEP, giving area senior citizens a place to gather.
Every election year, our building is offered to Clinton County as a voting place for Mill Hall Borough residents to cast their ballot.
Some history behind the Mill Hall Volunteer Fire Company: we became active in 1901 and were incorporated on the 8th of August, 1921. Twenty-four of the Mill Hall emergency responders set their hands to form the charter of incorporation of the Fire Company.
Our mission is to serve and protect our community and the residents within. If you are interested in helping better serve your community, applications can be found on our Facebook page, as well as our website: www. millhallfire. com. You are always welcome to give us a call 570-726-4792.
Remember, you do not have to fight fires or put your life on the line to be a volunteer and help your community. Social member applications are available, as well.
