Congratulations to the winners
AAMD ’ s annual Chili Cookoff was held this past fall , and was a great success . More than 30 companies from both the Owner and Supplier sides of AAMD membership were competing for the honor of having the best chili .
This year ’ s event was Halloween themed , which allowed booths to feature everything from witches and skeletons to lifeguards and circus performers . As always , this amazing creativity contributes to a relaxed networking event which is also a great place for our members to bring their families . The Kids Zone that included a petting zoo , bounce castle , balloon artists , and face painting was a great attraction for the many costumed kids in attendance .
All attendees were able to vote for their favorite chilis in several different categories . At the conclusion of the event , judges gathered on stage to help decide the final winners prior to the trophy presentation . This included the presentation of the prestigious AAMD Red Chili Cup and Green Chili Cup , which will both be on display in the winning companies ’ offices until next year , when they will be awarded to the next recipients .
