for family homestead in 35 + years
Just prior to the winter holidays , AAMD members gathered to raise funds for Family HomeStead at our annual Charity Auction signature event . This year ’ s theme was “ The Masters of Giving ”, a nod to prestigious golfing traditions befitting our new location at the Hangar Club in Denver .
AAMD is proud to announce that we hit our fundraising goal of $ 30,000 to donate to the Association ’ s charitable efforts . This was made possible by the wonderful contributions and generosity of our sponsors , as well as all in attendance .
In the almost 40 years that AAMD has been partnering with Family Homestead , we have raised nearly $ 650,000 to assist in their mission . Family HomeStead is a private non-profit agency whose mission is to provide emergency and transitional housing to Denver ’ s homeless families . The event also benefited Apartments Giving Back , the charitable arm of the association which donates to many deserving organizations throughout the year .
