- NEW YEAR ' S RESOLUTIONS TO MY PET -
• I will learn to feed my pet with better , more nutritious food .
• I will watch his / her weight so he / she stays fit . I will take more walks with my dog so that we both get in shape .
• I will not give my pets food off the table , because this makes them beg , which is bad behavior , and causes obesity .
• I will not give them too many treats , especially those filled with corn , fillers , and dye . I will brush their teeth and care for their gums to prevent tooth loss and gum disease .
• I will be sure to make and keep yearly appointments with my vet for updates on their shots and to check their overall wellness .
• I will make regular grooming appointments so they have a healthy coat and skin .
• I will keep their nails cut short so as not to injure their feet and legs .
• I will give them as much love as they give me . They are my four-legged children and they need my love and care every day .
• I won ' t just tie them outside and forget about them . They are members of my family and they deserve my love and affection , for this is what they give me without reservation .
