It ' s Sylvia Tyson ' s Last Album !
She ' s a folk music legend , this is her 10th solo album , and she has announced this is her last . She is Sylvia Tyson and that disc , At The End of the Day , is now available through Stony Plain Records .
On her own , she has built and nurtured a long career - and that doesn ' t include the 13 albums worth of songs she cut with her husband , the late Ian Tyson .
As Ian and Sylvia , they championed folkies like Bob Dylan and Gordon Lightfoot by being the first to cut their songs . Ian ' s " Four Strong Winds " and Sylvia ' s " You Were on My Mind " have been recorded over and over since they were first released .
Name an honor , and she has it - including :
• Member of the Canadian Country Hall of Fame
• Member of the Songwriters Home of Fame
• Received into the Order of Canada .
At The End of the Day is a fitting way to end an honorable career .

Bruce Cockburn ' s Latest Disc - O Sun O Moon
Bruce Cockburn ' s 35th album is different - oh , that voice is the same , and the instrumentation is stellar as usual , but this disc focuses much more on spirituality and introspection .
At age 77 , with a career spanning almost sixty years , Cockburn ' s songwriting is as good as ever . There are politically charged songs here , but also many that focus on unity - forgiveness , love , and spiritual connections as the common themes .
As always , a talented group of players support Cockburn ' s vision , including longtime compatriot Colin Linden , plus guests like Shawn Colvin , Buddy Miller , Allison Russell , Sarah Jarosz , and Ann and Regina McCrary of the The McCrary Sisters .
O Sun O Moon is prime Cockburn . Find out more @ Truenorthrecords . com
