Local boutiques tips on styling winter fashion

Winter fashion is usually described as cozy and comfortable with lots of layering . In Hammonton , people are loving the shacket , a crossover between a shirt and a jacket .
Ana Yanoschak , co-owner of Perhaps with her mother Lisa , said the shacket is one of the biggest sellers they ’ ve had .”
“ You can wear it with leggings , jeans ; it ’ s very versatile ,” she said .

There are different variations of shackets . Some are solid , pastel colors and others are plaid .
“ The plaids are going really strong into spring as well ,” Yanoschak said . The shacket is also popular at SaDee ’ s Clothing Boutique said owner Amanda Poalise .
“ Lots of sweaters this year , and the shackets were huge ,” Poalise said .
Poalise recommends wearing lots of layers for winter . At SaDee ’ s Clothing Boutique , one of the mannequins wears a plain top and jeans with an outerwear jacket and a paperclip necklace .
“ It ’ s more loungewear in the winter ,” Poalise said .

loungewear trending . “[ We ’ re seeing ] matching sets of comfort clothes , soft and warm because it ’ s January ,” Bertino said .
When it comes to staying warm , Bertino likes layering cardigan sweaters over top of shirts .
“ I like these sweaters where they ’ re open in the front and you can put it on over a regular plain top , and they ’ re very comfortable and warm ,” Bertino said .
For accessories , Bertino said the infinity scarves are popular .
At Perhaps , Yanoschak is also seeing scarves trend .
