Happy New Year ! I look forward to an exciting 2022 here at Sun N Lake ! As I Look back and reflect on 2021 , it had its challenges . Through all these challenges the Club really flourished . This is all possible due to this great Sun ‘ N Lake family and community .
We have completed a lot of projects on both courses and the clubhouse in 2021 . The banquet room received a facelift with new lighted curtains , fresh paint , and ceiling tiles . The team completed a lot of tree trimming on both courses in November and December . Currently you will see them chipping the debris and adding the mulch to areas around the property . Several new landscaped areas have been added around both courses and the clubhouse area . New pine tree groves have been added to Deer Run . The bunker on # 4 Deer was reshaped and filled with new G-angle sand . A new practice area by the clubhouse will finish the grow in phase soon . Looking into next year we are currently planning a full course irrigation upgrade on Deer Run , with the possibility of upgrading the green surround irrigation on Turtle . We have several other projects we are going to complete to continue to improve our facilities in 2022 . This will include several bunker renovations , and more landscaped areas .
Please join me in welcoming our new Executive Chef Ralph Callahan . He brings a lot of experience and talent to our team . He is very excited to meet everyone and provide a new and exciting dining experience for you . I am sure you will see him around as you enjoy the restaurant . The Island View continues to be very busy every day . We want to make sure we have your table waiting for you . During peak hours we may experience wait times for walk-ins . Also , please mark your calendars for the upcoming Club events and hours of operation . These events will fill up fast , so give us a call or stop by to book your table !
