The future of EnduroCross looks very promising ; at this time , the promoters are aiming to keep the fall schedule . Many competitors ride two-strokes in the Hard Enduro series , and switch to the four-stroke versions for the EnduroCross series . Since each bike has a different feel , having the series towards the end of the year eliminates the need for riders to switch back and forth between the two . Tod and Eric are also looking to spread the events out more towards the east coast , similar to what the Hard Enduro events have been doing . The main challenge , similar to what the 2020 series faced , will be to find venues that are able to support the events . At this time , another six-round series is planned for 2021 , tentatively scheduled to begin in August and finish by late October or early November .
