the overall for Round 1 . Cody Webb and Cooper Abbott rounded out the podium .
Riders had no rest , as Round 2 was held the very next day . Having decided to ride the Sherco 300 fourstroke instead of the two-stroke only weeks before the opening round , Cody Webb and team had to work overtime to make changes necessary to help secure a win . Looking to improve his results , Trystan Hart donned what he referred to as his “ attitude gear .” This ultimately proved successful , as Trystan not only took the holeshot for Moto 1 , but took a healthy lead over both Webb and Haaker and secured the win , even with a slight stumble over the last K rail in the final lap . Colton fought from the back row to second place before the end of the first lap in Moto 2 , and overtakes Cooper Abbott for the lead before the end of the first lap .
Cody Webb and Cory Graffunder take second and third place , respectively . In the final moto of the day , Webb makes an unfortunate mistake , giving Trystan Hart the second place finish . Haaker and Hart battle for top , but Haaker was able to keep ahead , earning both the Moto 3 win and the overall for Round 2 . Beta USA ’ s Benjamin Herrera and mechanic , Ryan , performed some last-minute suspension and carburetor work , improving his eighth-place finish from Round 1 to a sixth-place finish in Round 2 , and keeping Beta securely in the top 10 .
Round 3 was to start only five days later . The goal was to make the course more technical and more fun for the riders . However , in addition to having to design a more challenging course , the crew also had to content with a 100mph windstorm that hit San Bernardino the Sunday and Monday after the first rounds , leaving little time to waste . The crew kicked into overdrive and scrambled to put everything back together for Round 3 that Thursday . Riders and teams also had limited time to dial in their settings and complete test runs . However , since the EnduroCross track team was busy rebuilding the track and working to make the track more technical , riders did not have access to the same track they would be competing on . They were forced to seek track time elsewhere ; some teams , such as KTM , having a clear advantage by having official test tracks close-by .
Rounds 3 and 4 were a bit more technical than the first rounds , and saw the same three riders , Haaker , Webb , and Hart , trading finishes . Going into the last moto of Round 3 , all three riders were tied for first place . Trystan Hart kept a solid pace , passing both Haaker and Webb and earned his first EnduroCross
