DAKAR 2021
Although COVID restrictions and quarantine measures are ever changing , the 2021 Dakar is still scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia January 3rd through January 15th .
The 43 rd edition of the race is stacked with fierce competition . Red Bull KTM Factory Racing ’ s Toby Price , Sam Sunderland , and Matthias Walkner will be lined up against Monster Energy Honda Team ’ s Ricky Brabec , José Ignacio Cornejo , Kevin Benavides , and Joan Barreda , who hope to retain the number one plate earned in the previous season .
The race will cinsist of two looping stages as well as a marathon stage .
“ We want to give the competitors the very best ,” says Dakar Race Director David Castera .

The 7,646 kilometer route has been completely redone , including remapping every all 4,800 kilometers of the 12 timed special stages .
