Well , put together an old bike , applying considerable time and effort , then get out there and have at it , and when you cross the finish line , or complete the event , you ’ ll for darn sure feel a great deal of pride that your old bike – the one that you worked on , fixed up , and got ready , to the best of your ability , carried you through to success . Maybe you won ! Maybe you didn ’ t . Maybe you finished well down in the field . Either way , riding that old bike , in competition , and accomplishing what you set out to do , is extremely rewarding .
