INTERVIEW

HOW WAS THE TRANSITIO

JOSH : It was definitely quite the transition ; I had been with Sherco since I was nine years old . I ’ ll always appreciate everything that they did for me , but it was just time for me to move on and look for some new motivation . So a great deal through Dirt Riders West came up with TRS and getting support over in the Europe scene as well , and I decided to hop on that . It ’ s been truly amazing ; I think it ’ s awesome because I can feel myself improving . It ’ s been a great transition and I ’ m very excited for what the future holds with it .
I like to have a firm bike under me and not have it flex , so that ’ s one of my biggest preferences , and now that I have a bike that does that , it ’ s very nice , and I love it . I have nothing but good things to say .
I ’ d like to give a big thanks to Dirt Riders West and TRS Motos USA , Mike Carlton and Jim Snell .
The bike itself is just an amazing bike and I absolutely love it . I got adapted to it fairly quick ; the very first time I rode one , I was like “ Wow , this thing ’ s kinda strange .” The biggest thing I noticed between the Sherco and the TRS is the Sherco is made out of a Chrome-moly frame , and so that metal tends to flex a lot . The TRS is made out of an aluminum frame , which is really stiff and doesn ’ t allow the bike to flex at all . Whenever I ’ m hopping around , I feel very solid ; the bike doesn ’ t move under me . That ’ s a feeling that I really like , and it gives me that comfortable feeling on the bike .
