Uniti (Sweden) Specifically designed for urban mobility, this small electric vehicle
has a top speed of 80 m.p.h. and a range of 190 miles on a full
charge. A crowdfunded startup, the company is breaking ground
for a full production facility in the U.K.

One—Joy-stick steering; Level 3 self-driving capability
Arcimoto (U.S.A.) As an electric three-wheeled vehicle and classified as a motorcy-
cle, the Amicron FUV (Fun Utility Vehicle) is most readily available
product for dual usage inside the gated community, as well as
outside on public roads. Moreover, it delivers on most of the
desirable features cited above.
Baro One (U.K.) The Baro One is, in styling, the most recognizable of the three
prize winners as a traditional golf, although its styling is the haute
couture of the golf car universe. Aside from the stylish looks, the
Baro One has a number of extraordinary features, including Level
3 self-driving capabilities
Do these vehicles address all the issues raised above? No, but they are on the way to doing so. We
are at the beginnings of a whole range of urban mobility solutions, some of which will actually gem-
inate inside the gated community, and I believe innovative small vehicles will be significant part of
urban mobility systems. The innovations and new product designs that characterize these trends will
find a market in gated communities, as we ride the coattails of a very big picture.
