Janfam Issue 3 - State of the World | Page 3

Editor's letter

Welcome to the third edition of your Janfam e-zine. This is a very special edition, recognising the outstanding success of the American leg of the 'State of the World' tour, and the coming together of the Janfam, Janet's devoted and loyal fanbase.

Before we explore the contents of this 3rd issue, I'd like to take an

opportunity to dedicate this issue to two lifelong members of the Janfam,

who have sadly passed away, Michael Whetstine and Herman Holden. I met

Herman in Vegas a couple of years ago, and was drawn to his loveable, soft,

teddy bear character. During the Unbreakable and State of the World tours,

I have met some extremely loyal and committed fans, and both Mike and

Herman, embody what it is to be a true Janfam member. Our thoughts go to

their family and friends.

2017 was a big year for the Janfam. Janet in May announces she is returning

to the stage, with a new message for her fans and the rest of the world, with

the 'State of the World' tour. This would start in America, with 56 concerts,

between September and December.

Considering Janet, had given birth to her son, Eissa, in January, she has shown

immense strength, to get back to the fitness she requires to be back on stage,

and of course, a little helping hand from Paulette Bayliss, her personal trainer.

And boy, is Janet back, with no point to prove, but a real desire to tell the

world, we need to do more, and that by coming together as one, we can

make a difference.

This issue features interviews with the extremely talented Mishay Petronelli,

Alexandra Carson (dancers), Pik Funk (bass), and Janfam member and DJ,

Kelly Alexander.

There are also articles from fellow Janfam members. A huge thank you to

you all, for making this issue special.
