TNT Sports secures major Australian rights

Fans in the UK and Ireland will be able to watch every race of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship season as well as every game of the Australian Football League ( AFL ) on TNT Sports and discovery + through new rights deals .

TNT Sports is set to show two of Australia ’ s biggest sports in 2025 , becoming the new , exclusive broadcaster of the Repco Supercars Championship ( formerly V8 Supercars ), whilst continuing as the home of the Australian Football League ( AFL ), in the UK and Ireland .
TNT Sports will bring live coverage of every race from the upcoming season of the Repco Supercars Championship to
TNT Sports and its streaming platform discovery +, as well as race highlights on its linear channels .
The agreement strengthens TNT Sports ’ motorsports coverage that already includes two-wheel action ( MotoGP , FIM Speedway GP , FIM Superbike World Championship , Bennetts British Superbike Championship , British Speedway , FIM Endurance World Championship ) and four-wheel action ( FIA World Endurance Championship , including the 24h of Le Mans ) across the year .
Through a new multi-year rights agreement , every single game of the Toyota AFL Premiership season will continue to be broadcast live on discovery + with selected games also shown on TNT Sports ’ linear channels throughout the season .

La Liga blocks illegal streaming platforms
As part of its ongoing commitment
to protecting intellectual property
rights , Spain ’ s top-flight football
league La Liga has successfully
blocked illegal broadcasts from the DazcFutbolios and RBTV77 platforms .
The platforms , which allowed the unauthorised broadcasting of football matches , operated via both website and app , using Cloudflare infrastructure to conceal their activities alongside legitimate domains . These domains were used as a digital shield to evade security controls . Together , the two platforms had more than 400,000 unique
monthly users in Spain .
La Liga says it has once again demonstrated its ability to combat audiovisual fraud with a swift and effective response . A specialised team successfully carried out this operation , highlighting the efficiency of dynamic blocking measures implemented during Matchday 24 of La Liga EA Sports and Matchday 27 of La Liga Hypermotion . These blocks , which La Liga has previously clarified are neither large-scale nor indiscriminate , also targeted
a series of specifically identified IPs that hosted pirate services and unauthorised streaming platforms operating in parallel .
The defence of intellectual property rights remains one of La Liga ’ s priorities as it works together with the different telecommunications providers to identify and shut down illegal streaming platforms , thus safeguarding the integrity , financial sustainability , and primary revenue sources of football clubs and the sports industry as a whole .
