Test Rite was founded in Taiwan in 1978 by entrepreneur Judy Lee, initially exporting tool and hardware products. Fast-forward to 2023 and the company now employs more than 6000 people in 11 countries, manufacturing all sorts of décor items. Here’ s some interesting facts about Judy Lee, now 69:
• One of five children raised in a village in southern Taiwan, she describes her family growing up as“ very poor”.
• When she got the chance to study at university, her parents had to borrow the funds from the local newspaper delivery man to help their daughter study.
• After she lost her job in business development, she decided to start her own company, Test Rite, in 1974.
• Under Judy’ s leadership, Test Rite is consistently recognised by global retail customers for its delivery of outstanding services and products.
