Mrs . Amy Newsom is a math teacher at Ignite Christian Academy . She started teaching here last year .
Born in May of 1976 , Mrs . Newsom currently lives in Georgia . She has been happily married for 18 years and has two children , a son and a daughter . She doesn ' t travel often ; the last time they traveled was to Florida .
Mrs . Newsom has been teaching since 2011 , which means she ' s been teaching math for more than 10 years . She has taught at ICA for about a year . Before joining ICA , she worked at a brick-and-mortar school called The King ? s Academy . When Mrs . Newsom was a student , she enjoyed every subject in school .
Her hobbies range from anything outdoors to reading . The thing she likes most about ICA is the students . She says
the students are awesome , and being a teacher at ICA makes things a little more flexible .
A fun fact about Mrs . Newsom is she has a dog named Ruby and a Guinea pig named Cocoa . Mrs . Newsom ? s favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 54:10 which states , ? Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed ,? says the Lord , who has compassion on you .?
