" Loop for Literacy " is an enjoyable outdoor event organized to support the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County . The event offers various activities , including a 5k run , a bike race , and the flexibility for participants to choose between running , walking , or cycling at their own pace . This event is family-friendly and includes children .
For the younger participants , there ' s a one-mile fun run and a 100-yard dash . Every child who registers for the event will receive a book , emphasizing the promotion of literacy among the youth . The proceeds generated from the event contribute to literacy programs within the community . These programs aim to provide essential support for both children and adults , ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed in school and life .
