What attracted you to begin a career as an actor?

I loved movies and television growing up. I’m from a really small town in Pennsylvania so movies were how I saw the world. As I got older, I began to realize how much of an influence they were to not just myself but so many people around the world. Once I got the opportunity to be a part of it, I couldn’t pass it up.

What has been your greatest accomplishment as an actress?

I feel that one of my greatest accomplishments has been being able to find small successes without following the stereotype of what people believe a 19 year old blonde hair, blue eyed actress should be doing in her career. There's a very easy route to success for women like myself but I’ve never had any interest in following the mold.

Think about a demanding director, professor or cast mate. What made him or her difficult? How did you successfully interact with this person?

Of course I have, when you work on set you are surrounded by so many creative people every day for 14 hours. It’s bound to happen eventually. A good way I keep myself cool in those situations is to remind myself that when people are demanding over something artistic, it is because of their passion or an issue within themselves and 9 times out of 10, it has absolutely nothing to do with me.

What is your message for our readers and fans?
