Tell us how you felt after winning the award for “Best Actress” for your role in the movie "The Bloom"?

It was a truly indescribable feeling. The story of BLOOM means so much to me and to win an award for something I had worked so hard on was a truly indescribable feeling.

What advice would you give your younger self?

If I could go back, I would remind myself that I'm on a journey, meaning that a lot of things change. So even the impactful things will change, those things that mean the world to you. I'd remind myself that everything that has happened, had to happen so you could be where you are today. It's a good journey that is worth every step.

What have you learned about yourself since being in the spotlight?

A: In the past few years, I’ve definitely realized how much of a perfectionist I am. I tend to work on things until I wear myself out or pick every little flaw apart. I’m working on realizing that there are some things in life that you just have to let go.

What things have you learned about life and the human condition from being a “celebrity”?

I’ve learned that everyone is going through something and you have to respect that. Even the person that seems like they have it all together has a complicated and humbling story of how they got to be where they are today.

What projects are you currently working on?

I just had a show come out on YouTube Premium called “Liza on Demand”. Also, I recently filmed a thriller film called “Do Not Reply” coming out in 2019!

Which celebrities do you believe are the most influential to you?

I absolutely adore Cate Blanchett and Stevie Nicks. They are both such powerful artistic woman that have a vision and stick with it.

I’ve learned that everyone is going through something and you have to respect that.
