“Pleasure doing business with you,” she said.

“Yah,” he said quickly

“Um, so I’m going to the park to throw around a football with Parker. He rushed to the door hoping not to get stopped, but he had no such luck.

“Wait!" she said.

"Goodbye to my afternoon,” he muttered under his breath, expecting more work.

“Can I come too?” she asked.

Robert raised his eyebrows. “You want to come?”

She shrugs. “Ya, sure. I’m done with my homework and I've done everything else possible so this is the only thing I can do now.”

“Thanks that makes me feel so special,” he said with a grin on his face. "What are you waiting for, let's go!” He walks out the door with Nora close behind him, pulling her brown hair into a ponytail, her hot pink streaks glistening in the sun. She locks the door and pulls out her phone to tell Rebecca that she would be back in half an hour. They walk to the park, Robert throwing the football in the air as they walk out to the field. Parker met them there with his own football in hand and they start a weird game of football trading out the football each time one got wet by the puddles from yesterday's rain. It was the third quarter and Robert picked up his football, getting ready to run, the football in hand. He made the mistake of looking up and sees Parker flirting with Nora.

Now if it was anyone else flirting with anyone else he would ignore it, but it was

Parker and he was flirting with Nora! By the looks of it Nora was getting pretty annoyed and even though he wasn’t really friends with her, she was his sister's best friend and he respected that. He wished that Parker would leave her alone and instead of running with the football he threw the football with all his might wishing it would hit its mark...

The football sped through the air faster than Nora thought possible and hit Parker squarely in the nose. A second later Parker's nose gushed with blood. "Ow!" he yelled.

After that he said a couple words that you're not supposed to say in school or to anyone you know will tell your mom or who is your mom.

Nora laughed. "Good throw Robert. I say that's a goal or whatever you call it in football terms."

Parker gave Robert an evil look which isn't that hard for him to do considering the blood dripping from his nose.

"I'm going home," he said giving Robert another dirty look."See you at school, Robert." He picked up his football from the grass and ran in the direction of his house, holding his nose with his hand and the football in the other.

“Good job Robert” Nora said as she laughed.

“Thanks?” he said uncertainly.

“Come on, let's go back to my house. Rebecca will be home soon!”

They ran home laughing, but Robert was shocked about how Parker had acted. He had never acted the way he had when Robert had hit him and they had been friends for a long time. They had a lot of arguments but Parker had never given him a look that mean before. Robert looked at the football that he admired so much for the gold stitch on the side. The thing was, it wasn’t there. There in its place was a dull brown one. Robert’s face filled with anger. Parker had stolen his football. Robert knew one thing, Parker was gonna pay…
