Concluding Remarks
We are experiencing the poverty of the social
sciences. The social sciences are politicised, and
they are influenced by personal agendas, such as,
maintaining hegemony. Until we do not challenge our
biases and orchestrate a scientific revolution in the
Kuhnian sense (Kuhn, 1962), this issue potentially
will not be resolved. Hence, it is important that
Universities impart alternative sociological canons.
Otherwise, we cannot respect the diversity of the
social sciences. Additionally, we cannot study the
possibility of universal themes in the social sciences.
