If you ’ re a new business owner , an established company or a resident of Jacksonville , I want to welcome you on behalf of the Chamber . It ’ s a great time to be part of the community and especially part of the Chamber , as our city continues to grow and prosper .
I am honored , humbled , and thrilled to serve once again as Chairwoman of the Board for 2023 . I follow a strong legacy of leaders who have worked together with the staff , board , community , and businesses to make JACKSONVILLE the best place to live , work and play . It ’ s an incredible honor to work alongside my fellow Board members , our volunteers , Chamber staff , and most importantly , all of you , our Chamber members . You make our Chamber and our community exceptional ! The board of directors is a diverse group of business representatives and individuals who help ensure the Chamber is moving forward with our members ’ best interest in mind . It ’ s exciting to see what changes can occur when businesses and individuals partner with the Chamber to create growth and prosperity for our community .
As a business owner , your # 1 priority is your business . It ’ s no surprise that ’ s one of the Chamber ’ s goals , too . We ’ re committed to teaming with business owners and individuals to ensure our community flourishes . And , we do that in a variety of ways from business referrals , educational luncheons , networking opportunities , community-wide events , weekly email blasts , and lots and lots of ways to promote your business through attending , hosting , or sponsoring these events .
Becoming a member of the Jacksonville Chamber isn ’ t enough . You gain value from your chamber membership by what you put into it . In other words , get involved in the activities that work best for your schedule and will benefit your business . If you can ’ t attend one of our business at lunch events , then swing by one of our Morning Brew networking events and make some new friends . A ribbon cutting becomes an opportunity for you to make a new business connection . Use the website to promote specials going on at your business or on the Weekly Chamber Chatter .
