Economic Development
The Chamber has always been front and center with Economic Development thanks to the dedication of Peggy Renfro and her staff . I am excited about the direction of Jacksonville and the leadership of Duane Weatherford for 2022 and the Board of Directors . This year we will focus on reintroducing the Job Fair , through the leadership of Crystal Bateman , which is a win-win outreach where we help both our local employers find employees and our citizens find jobs . The Transportation Division chaired by Kelly Traylor will provide a sounding board for the transportation needs of our area . New for 2022 is the Chamber Business Expo led by Jaclyn Tyler to promote local industry .
