With the Audi e-tron, electric efficiency sacrifices nothing to performance; an electric motor
at the front and one at the rear jointly produce 300kW of power, propelling this full-sized SUV
from 0-62mph in less than 6 seconds. Unlike a combustion-powered vehicle, the acceleration
response is almost instant, providing a thrilling sensation at launch.
The e-tron goes the distance too, with a range of up to 237 miles on a single charge under
stringent test conditions. Recharging is possible in a number of flexible ways: at home, via a
domestic socket or, for a reduced charging time, with a specially fitted wallbox; or on the road,
via high-power charging stations. Where available, the e-tron can be replenished at 150kW
terminals that can recharge the battery to 80% within 30 minutes and 100% within 50 minutes.
