The world has been faced with the COVID- 19 pandemic for two years . Some of us are barely holding on to our faith and any hope we have . Many are mentally , physically , and spiritually fatigued , struggling to maintain their sanity . Not knowing who to turn to or where to get relief , some find ways to cope by selfmedicating or in other activities they believe will give them peace . As a fellow Christian , I want to share how believers can remain resilient in their faith during those times when we face adversity .
believers to remain resilient , we must allow God ’ s grace to give us the strength to endure , remain positive and continue trusting that God will see us through .
Let ’ s first start with what resilient means . According to Oxford Dictionary , it means to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions . How do believers withstand difficulty ? In 2 Corinthians 12 : 9,10 , God tells us His grace is sufficient and that His power is made perfect in weakness . When we are weak , we are strong . We can withstand the wiles of the enemy , calamity , health issues , and yes , even the pandemic through God ’ s grace . Grace is a part of God ’ s character . It is undeserving favor , and He gives believers an infinite supply of His grace daily . And it is through His grace that we receive His power .
God ’ s grace is sufficient for us . It gives us the strength to continue when we are weak and exhausted . God ’ s love diminishes our fears , and our attitude of defeat is replaced with an attitude of victory . Our hope is revived with God ’ s because we know that He has us in His hands . The irony is we truly experience God ’ s grace in our weakness , which is when Christ ' s power works in and rests on us . Our weakness creates an opportunity for us to experience God ’ s power . For
