International Festival Success

Global Awards Recognition

In another outstanding year on the festival circuit, The Island was given an International Spotlight screening at Series Fest and The Assassin premiered in Italy at the Italian Global Series Festival. The Gymnasts and Generation Z hooked audiences at Zlín Film Festival, and critically acclaimed brand The Gold screened all episodes at Serial Killer Festival. Still to come, Trespasses will play at Geneva International Film Festival and The Gold and Dreamers have been selected at Serielizados.
This year has seen an International Emmy ® win for Lost Boys & Fairies, a Venice TV Award for Crongton, and multiple wins at the New York TV & Film Awards. Our dramas have been nominated at the AACTA Awards, Logie Awards, and BAFTA TV Awards, with Exposure, Critical Incident, and The Tattooist of Auschwitz garnering acclaim in drama, performance, and craft categories. In the Asian Academy Creative Awards there were wins in Malaysia for Astro’ s adaptation of Step Dave, including‘ Best Adaptation of an Existing Format.’

Described as“ like nothing we’ ve seen before” by Digital Spy, The Assassin launched on Prime Video, UK, and Stan, Australia, to a host of 5-star reviews, while Sheridan Smith received praise for a stunning performance in true crime drama I Fought the Law. Family-favourite All Creatures Great and Small continues to deliver top ratings globally, and there was an incredible response to the second series of 96 % Rotten Tomato-rated The Gold. The latest instalment of Mystery Road: Origin added another powerful and cinematic chapter to the multi-awardwinning franchise, and Ridley, starring Adrian Dunbar, made a triumphant return to ITV.

Top Talent Drives Upcoming Drama Slate

In a year where Gillian Anderson, Sheridan Smith, Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore have starred in our dramas, it’ s exciting to have more high-profile talent confirmed on our 2026 slate. Gemma Arterton and Rafe Spall lead a star-studded cast in Secret Service, Daisy Haggard writes and stars opposite Emmy ® nominee Bella Ramsey in Maya, and Michelle Gomez and Derek Riddell appear in Counsels, from the creator of Skins, Bryan Elsley, and rising star writer, Gillian McCormack.

Great Year for Expanding Scripted Formats Slate

The countdown is on for the launch of Freedom Media’ s Trigger Point adaptation in Kazakhstan, joining their versions of The Missing and Accused in production. The first African series of format phenomenon Liar is arriving soon in Botswana, while in India, Rose Audio Visuals’ Shameless remake outperformed the slot average by 21 % in its first week for Sony SAB. It is exciting to have a Korean adaptation confirmed for Scandi-thriller Black Widows, and in Spain, a big congratulations to Atres Media whose C21 Format Award-nominated thriller Ángela, a brilliant remake of Angela Black, is currently trending in Netflix’ s top ten and attracting interest for further local editions from producers and major broadcasters.

Following a year of 25 th series celebrations, we are delighted that long-running detective brand and global ratings hit, Midsomer Murders, will be returning for Series 26 in 2026, with Neil Dudgeon, Nick Hendrix, Annette Badland and Fiona Dolman reprising their roles.
