Dear Participants,
In 2013, poverty is unacceptable. We are too connected to allow so many in our world to live in
sub-human conditions. At the Hult Prize, we have made it our mission to find and fund business
solutions to poverty.
In the last four years, we have seen some amazing things. We believe more than ever in the wisdom
of the crowd. We believe in the viability of business solutions. We believe that social impact can
come from anyone, anywhere – not just corporate social relations departments of Fortune 500
companies and non-profit organizations.
The Hult Prize has had the pleasure of working with global leaders of social change like Gary White,
Charles Kane, Steve Andrews and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Muhammad Yunus. Now, we have
the pleasure of working directly with former U.S. President Bill Clinton to tackle the challenge of
food security.
