On June 8 , 2023 , the IWIRC Ontario Network hosted an event celebrating IWIRC ’ s 30th anniversary at Terroni on Adelaide ! Members ( and a few nonmembers ) joined together to celebrate over delicious food and drinks .
As a part of the 30th anniversary celebration , IWIRC Ontario partnered with Red Door Family Shelter , an emergency shelter and support for women and children affected by domestic abuse , families experiencing a housing crisis , and refugee claimants with nowhere else to turn . The IWIRC Ontario Network raised $ 350 for Red Door Family Shelter and collected boxes of in-kind donations of sugar , oil , cereal , and diapers .
It was an uplifting night of celebration , connection , and giving back !
