The group will meet at the Restaurant of the Doubletree Hotel in New Bern, North Carolina at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016.

Chicago Network

On October 6, 2016, the Chicago Network partnered with TMA NOW to co-host a lovely evening of culture and networking at the Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago. Thirty-five members and guests enjoyed a docent-led tour of several works by the masters of the Impressionist period including Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Claude Monet and Edouard Manet. While our docent volunteers his time leading these tours for the museum, he is a very knowledgeable Art History professor and his enthusiasm for these artists and their paintings was infectious. One of the paintings he focused on was the subject of one of his semester long classes.

The networking portion of the evening was held in the Terzo Piano restaurant located on the fourth floor of the Modern Wing. It provided a perfect setting to mix and mingle with other women turnaround professionals and to enjoy a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres. Mary Alberts (MB Financial), Barbara Yong (Golan Christie Taglia LLP), Lauren Hargrove (U.S. Bankruptcy Court), Anne Vanderkamp (Baker Tilly), Elizabeth Vandesteeg (Sugar Felsenthal Grais and Hammer), and Andrea Gonzalez (Alvarez and Marsal) helped plan the event. Special thanks to Sue Fischer and Chris Glatz for assisting with the publicity, registration and menu selection.
