Mei Yen Tan, founding member and co-chair of the Singapore Network, joined Oon & Bazul LLP as the head of the Restructuring and Insolvency Practice. Meiyen is the first woman to lead a restructuring team in Singapore. Meiyen is admitted to the Singapore Bar, the Malaysian Bar, the Roll of Solicitors in England & Wales and qualified as a Barrister-at-Law (Middle Temple). She represents a full range of individuals, multinational corporations, insolvency practitioners, distress and special situations funds, and financial institutions in Singapore and abroad, with particular emphases on contentious cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters, financial and shareholder disputes, and fraud investigations.
