Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals – IWIRC Ontario organized a well-received breakfast and membership drive at CAIRP’s annual conference in August 2014.
IWIRC Ontario has been successful in programming innovative and fun events for its members locally and regionally as well as partnering with other Canadian restructuring groups to showcase the benefits of IWIRC.
IWIRC Mid-Atlantic Networks Enjoy Cupcakes & Cocktails at the Hotel Hershey
Seven IWIRC networks in the Mid-Atlantic region discovered just how sweet regional networking can be at the Cupcakes & Cocktails event at the Hotel Hershey during the ABI Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Workshop. IWIRC members enjoyed 5 delicious mini-cupcakes paired with sweet cocktails based on famous Hershey’s treats. The presenter explained how to pair drinks with sweets, provided attendees with recipes for sweet cocktails, and then set us to work—all of the attendees mixed signature cocktails for the group to enjoy. The IWIRC group was the first to ever taste the Hotel Hershey’s latest signature cocktail creation, the Twizzler, and all agreed it was a success!
This third annual IWIRC regional event at the ABI Mid-Atlantic was co-sponsored by the Delaware, Greater Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Philadelphia Networks.
