The Superconductor Dial This limited-edition Legacy model features a completely new dial material crafted from a disc sliced from a Superconductor ; a copperniobium composite originally intended to become wire in a massive particle accelerator . The project was never completed , and this exotic patterned material was never drawn down to its final dimension . According to William Henry , very little of the material exists , and they have enough to make a limited number of these futuristic watch dials housed inside a titanium case coated in black DLC .
