WATCHES AND WONDERS 2023 WELCOMES ENTHUSIASTS
Forty-eight watchmakers ( up from thirty-eight in 2022 ) are slated to exhibit new watches during Watches and Wonders 2023 on March 27 to April 2 in Geneva . These include marquee brands such as Rolex , Patek Philippe and Cartier , but also smaller independent watchmakers such as Gronefeld , U-Boat and Czapek & Cie .
This year enthusiasts who are not retailers and press can visit the show . While Watches and Wonders is all business and press during its first five days , the public is invited to learn about the new 2023 watches during the the final two days of the event , April 1-2 , which will be open to ticketed visitors . Public entry tickets are being sold now online at watchesandwonders . com and are priced at 70 euros each , with special student and senior rates .
Show producers note that the event , which again takes place at Geneva ’ s Palexpo , is designed as a Swiss village with its squares , alleys , restaurants and watchmaking ‘ worlds .’
Organizers have devised an extensive seminar programs for the general public on April 1 and April 2 . Expect six talks and discussion panels each day in the auditorium , including speakers who will analyze watch trends , explain what makes a watch valuable , or how to start a vintage watch collection . Digital subjects will also be discussed , including NFTs , blockchain and circularity .
