GIVING BACK
Raymond Weil CEO Elie Bernheim is donating his very first timepiece in aid
of charity. This particular timepiece, originally from the Heritage Parsifal
collection, was personally gifted to Elie Bernheim by his grandfather
Raymond Weil, founder of the company.
This one-of-a-kind watch is a treasured timepiece for Bernheim. The
39mm diameter case holds a RW5000 mechanical self-winding movement.
On the dial note the striking contrast between the stainless-steel face and
yellow subdials.
The chronograph features a particular tri-compax dial layout and a date
window positioned at the 3’oclock. It is complete with three bright blue
lacquered buttons and a brown saddle-stitched genuine alligator strap.
“Time puts things in perspective,” says Elie Bernheim. “We cannot get
more of it, but we can certainly make the most of it for ourselves and others.”
Weil’s company asks collectors to support childhood cancer research.
Cancer rates have been slightly rising for the past few decades and
continue to affect the lives of children and their families worldwide. Every
two minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer, and about 300,000 kids
worldwide are diagnosed with cancer each year.
To support this battle, Raymond Weil is also releasing a special watch
with all the proceeds going toward the pediatric onco-hematology unit of
HUG Geneva Hospital for medical research to help find cure for children and
improve medical assistance for their family.
This special timepiece is now available for purchase on raymond-weil.us
for $10,000. One hundred percent of proceeds will go to the pediatric onco-
hematology unit of Geneva Hospital.
