GIVING BACK

BULGARI RAMPS UP ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH
SAVE THE CHILDREN
o celebrate the ongoing partnership between
Bulgari and Save the Children, Bulgari last fall
initiated Arte di Bulgari, a series of educational
programs for grade school students, in Houston at the
De Zavala elementary school in the Channelview
Independent School District.
This latest collaboration with Save the Children goes
to the very heart of what Bulgari stands for, said Bulgari
North American president Daniel Paltridge, who
emphasized the importance of “giving back.” “More and
more clients are making choices about which brands
they shop with based not only on the products a
company offers, but also on its values,” said Paltridge,
who attended the event. And the arts are a familiar fit.
Arte di Bulgari’s goal is enhancing academic and
emotional learning through the arts. Save the Children
President and COO Janti Soeripto says the arts have a
proven track record in improving both. But the areas in
which Save the Children works often offer limited
opportunities.
To bridge this gap, Arte di Bulgari comprises a wide
variety of programs, such as dance, theater, sculpture,
painting and music, using local artists and experts within
the surrounding neighborhoods to facilitate them. All
children within the designated schools have the
opportunity to participate, and the results-based
curriculum and activities are fashioned on the feedback
from children throughout the year.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of a specified
Bulgari sterling silver or steel pendant, bracelet or ring
in the collection is earmarked to Save the Children. This
year marks ten years of the collaboration that has seen
nearly $100 million raised for children worldwide via
Bulgari’s Save the Children jewelry collection.
