Virtuoso X Tourbillon
Bovet’s new Ateliers customization option
debuts its first watch, the Virtuoso X
Tourbillon. Limited to ten pieces, the convertible
watch/pocket watch/clock displays the local
time in the center alongside two distinct time
zones, each depicted by two hemispherical
earth maps. These globes are painted by hand
with luminescent material.
The Atelier collector will have the opportunity
to choose the names of the cities for each of
the 24 time zones. In addition, customers can
choose from among many decorative arts to
customize their timepiece, including miniature
painting, engraving, simple texts to guilloché
motifs or figurative engravings .
Bovet’s two-sided Virtuoso X also features a
Bovet flying-tourbillon and is powered for a full
ten days using only a single barrel. The Bovet
Virtuoso X Tourbillon is available in rose gold,
white gold or platinum 46mm case. Prices start
at CHF 325,000.
