BULGARI ULTRANERO AMERICAS EDITION Blue on black creates a contemporary look that retains its sense of masculinity in this recent addition to the expanding Octo Collection. Ultra thin with a diameter of 41mm, the Ultranero is also an almost perfect balance between comfort and wrist-presence. Inside beats the beautifully decorated Bulgari BVL 191 Solotempo automatic movement beating at 28,800 with a 42 hour power reserve. Outside a coating of DLC insures that the Americas edition will look like new almost indefinitely. Price $6,950 DU MANEGE DM EXPLORATION Based in La Chaux Des Fonds, Du Manege is a relative newcomer to watch making but well worth your time. Built entirely within the Neuchatel region of Switzerland, this 45mm black DLC covered titanium case houses a Swiss Made automatic movement modified into single button chronograph with both the chronograph control as well as the crown mounted to the left. Lime green accents stand out against the deep black background on the well designed two-register dial. Offered in very limited production the version pictured here retails for right around $11,000. Although the web-site is still exclusively in French, Du Manege has established a presence here in the USA. E mail tchaunu@ brandconsulting.us to learn more about this up and comer.
